Retconning everything from not only the prequels but also the original trilogy, this plays out more like poorly written fan fiction. The pacing is atrocious too. How can such a spectacular film be made so boring and yet so disrespectful to its own source material.

The story was weak
Everyone came at the last second and won the day
I was hoping the emperor would win
At least that could have opened up for another 3 movies which could have been more sinister
Its star wars but it was not an epic movie.

The ultimate fanboy did it again.
Visually the movie was amazing and even had some good scenes.
The rest, JarJar tried to pack into that movie as much as he could, including plenty of things in it just for merchandising purpose.
The problem with that is that this movie thus doesn’t go to deep into anything. All the characters seem superficial and even with many of them not even been shown on the screen, it wouldn’t really change the story do the movie; for that matter taking out a lot of the scenes wouldn’t really change the story of the movie.
As usual a lot of scenes seem to recycle scenes fro Episode IV-VI, trying to pay homage to the original trilogy.
All in all a mediocre ending to a mediocre trilogy that never really added anything to the saga as a whole.
